History

Chapter Apps Inc was built on the idea that learners like to learn in simple bullet points — an insight by our founder, Rohit Kumar when he was MD of Elsevier Health Sciences in S.Asia.

Coupled with a trend of mobile learning, he started this company in 2014 with a Silicon Valley Accelerator, Studio9 Plus.

Our LXP is a Digital Training & Learning Platform for Trainers & Learners. Evolving from mobile-first learning to a full featured LXP, it is one of the world’s most comprehensive and widely used digital training suites. The benefit to our customers is a proven scalable platform in real market conditions. It has an integrated notification and campaign management system along with a rule-based assignment engine for learners to be assigned content based on their role, competency and proficiency.

Four of the top 10 life insurance companies in India use Chapter, as well as five of the top 20 non-banking financial services firms. Since 2019 we have also been working with clients in the UK, Singapore and Asia Pacific. So far, over a million people have been trained through company apps built on the Chapter platform, and over 100,000 use those apps every month.
